About us

On behalf of the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors, staff and immigrants from everywhere, greeting.

The Haitian American Cultural, Incorporated is working to provide a forum for the Haitian immigrants and also people in need from Central America, South America, and the Caribbean Island and the many social issues. We hope to insure a smooth transition into the American Culture and a way of life. Our organization regularly assesses the needs of the community. Our programs, products and events are created to deliver strategic solutions to those needs with the objective of bringing about a healthier climate in which our communities can grow and prosper.

As an immigrant, I have encountered a cultural shock and I desire:

1. To insure a smooth transition into the American Culture and a way of life

2. To provide services that meet the basic needs, enhance self-esteem and raise physical and educational level in a meaningful and lasting way.

3. To provide families with educational and financial support

4. To develop professional development programs for family growth.

As the executive director of the organization, I not only look forward to delivering the programs to help our community—I look forward to promoting the communities where we work and live through quality transition to America. We trust that the information provided will help you understand the wealth of services provided by our organization.
